The lab of Ka Wai Ma from the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology (https://ipmb.sinica.edu.tw/en) is inviting application for a Msc level research assistant position. International applicants are welcome. The Ma lab uses both gnotobiotic plant system and the associated bacterial culture collection to understand the principles governing plant-microbiota homeostasis. Our research employs a multitude of omics techniques including 16S amplicon sequencing, transcriptomics and proteomics for functional analyses. The lab is currently looking for a motivated candidate to work on the molecular mechanisms shaping plant microbiota interaction.
